Prof. Xiaomin Liu 

Gansu Natural Energy Research Institute, China

XiaominLiu,Professor, Ph.D., specializes in research on the comprehensive and efficient utilization of solar energy, solar building, and building energy-saving technologies. He is among the first cohort of Longyuan Young Talents in Gansu Province and serves as the leader of a Longyuan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Team. He has also been recognized as a Longyuan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent. He is an expert in the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Expert Database, one of the first batch of provincial science and technology commissioners, and a member of the first cohort of provincial science and technology special commissioners. He serves on multiple academic and advisory committees, including: the Expert Advisory Committee of the Provincial–Ministerial Co-constructed Collaborative Innovation Center for Low-Carbon Urban Systems in Northwest China, the Academic Committee of Joint Laboratories, the Academic Committee of the Gansu Key Laboratory of Solar Energy and Biomass Complementary Multi-Energy Supply Systems, and the Academic Committee of the Gansu International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Distributed Energy Systems with Multi-Renewable Energy Complementarity at Lanzhou University of Technology. He is also a member of the Gansu Provincial Technical Committee for Standardization of New Energy and Recycling of New Energy Equipment, a council member of the Gansu New Energy Association, Vice Director of its Clean Heating Professional Committee, and a member and Secretary-General of its Green Building Professional Committee. He serves as a Master’s supervisor at both Shaanxi University of Technology and Lanzhou University of Technology.

Assoc. Research Fellow, Ye Liu

Xi'an Jiaotong University, China

Ye Liu, Ph.D., postgraduate supervisor, and Deputy Head of Department. His research mainly focuses on energy-saving technologies for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, semiconductor refrigeration technology, and ejector-enhanced refrigeration and heat pump systems. He teaches a range of courses, including the National Quality Course Principles of Refrigeration and Cryogenic Technology, Advanced Refrigeration and Cryogenic Technology, Heat Pump Technology, Space Refrigeration Technology, and Novel Refrigeration and Heat Pump Cycles. He has undertaken more than 10 research projects of various types, published over 30 high-level academic papers, including 19 indexed by SCI/EI, and been granted more than 10 national patents. He serves as an expert of the Industry–University Integration Platform of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration, a senior member of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration, and a reviewer for renowned SCI-indexed international journals such as Energy and Applied Thermal Engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Xiuzhen Li

Henan University of Science and Technology, China

Xiuzhen Li, Associate Professor, his research focuses on efficient utilization of low-grade thermal energy as well as theories and applications of refrigeration and air conditioning. He has presided over more than 10 research projects including the Youth Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. As the principal completer, he won the Second Prize of Energy Conservation & Emission Reduction Science and Technology Progress Award issued by China Energy Conservation Association; he also participated in 3 research projects awarded the Second Prize of Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

Assoc. Prof. Jun Ma

Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China

JunMa, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and has postdoctoral research experience. He is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. supervisor. His primary research focuses on concentrated solar power (CSP) technologies. He has served as Principal Investigator for 5 research grants, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Natural Science Foundation of Gansu Province, and the Higher Education Research Program of Gansu Province. He has also participated in 5 national-level research projects as a key contributor. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals such as Renewable Energy, Applied Thermal Engineering, Acta Optica Sinica, Science China: Technological Sciences, and Optics and Precision Engineering. He holds 8 authorized national invention patents and 1 computer software copyright. He is a recognized peer reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and is included in the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Expert Database. He also serves as a regular reviewer for several international and domestic journals, including Renewable Energy, Energy Conversion and Management, Energy, Solar Energy, and the Journal of Engineering Thermophysics.

Lecturer, Shucan Cheng

Xi’an University of Technology, China

Shucan Cheng is a lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an University of Technology, Ph.D. graduate from Wuhan University. His research focuses on numerical algorithms for electromagnetic fields and multi-physics problems, as well as their applications in power transmission and transformation equipment. In recent years, he has led one project funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Program) and participated in multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and industry-sponsored research projects. Over the past three years, he has published six papers in leading domestic and international journals in this field and been granted three invention patents.

Assoc. Research Fellow, Qingxin Tian 

Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Qingxin Tian is an Associate Research Fellow at Southwest Jiaotong University, holding a Ph.D. and having completed postdoctoral training. He serves as a Master’s Supervisor and a joint Doctoral Supervisor. He has been elected as a Senior Member of the China Power Supply Society. His research interests include high-efficiency power conversion and control for renewable energy and energy storage systems, topological derivation theories and methodologies for multi-port converters. In recent years, he has published over 30 academic papers. His work has accumulated more than 800 citations, and he has been recognized as a Stanford Top 2% World's Top Scientist. He holds 15 authorized national invention patents. Dr. Tian has led multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including the General Program and the Youth Program of the NSFC, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

Lecturer, Sheng Ren 

Xihua University, China

Sheng Ren, Lecturer, Doctor of Engineering. He graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, and currently works at the School of Electrical and Electronic Information, Xihua University. His research interests include wireless power transfer technology and resonant converters. He was selected as a WILEY China Open Science High Contribution Author in 2023. He has published a total of 14 academic papers, among which 8 SCI papers are published as the first author, including 2 papers in Chinese Academy of Sciences Q1 TOP journals and 1 paper in Chinese Academy of Sciences Q2 TOP journal. Four invention patents have been filed or granted.

Assoc. Prof. Qingyu Wang

Xi’an Jiaotong University, China

Qingyu Wang, Ph.D., Associate Professor, she has long been engaged in research covering material development for power equipment such as ultra-high/extra-high voltage bushings and transformers, optimal design of insulation structures, degradation mechanisms of electrical contact in electrical connection structures, the development of domestic multi-physics CAE software, and key digital technologies. She has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (General Program and Youth Program), one General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, as well as multiple key research projects including the National Science and Technology Major Project for Smart Grid (as the principal investigator of the sub-project) and independent research projects of national key laboratories. She has published more than 40 SCI and EI indexed papers. Her academic awards and honors include: First Prize of Shaanxi Provincial Technical Invention Award (2020), Special Prize for Outstanding Scientific and Technological Research Achievements of Shaanxi Institutions of Higher Education (2024), Second Prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award (2023), Second Prize of Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award (2023), Third Prize of China Southern Power Grid Corporation Science and Technology Progress Award (2023), First Prize of China Electrotechnical Society Science and Technology Award (2025), Young Talent Support Program of Xi’an Association for Science and Technology (2025).

Assoc. Research Fellow, Yijie Liu

Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Yijie Liu, Ph.D., is an Associate Researcher whose work focuses on fundamental and applied research in advanced electrical engineering materials through interdisciplinary integration of electrical engineering, chemistry, and materials science, primarily serving the fields of high-speed railways and power systems. He was selected for China’s National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents. He has served as principal investigator of one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Foundation Young Scholars Program (Category B) project. He has also participated as a key researcher in one Major Research Plan project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and five research projects funded by the State Grid Corporation of China, CRRC Corporation Limited, and other organizations. He has published more than 40 SCI-indexed papers in internationally renowned journals, including Science, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, and Nature Water. His publications include one ESI Hot Paper, two ESI Highly Cited Papers, and 15 papers published in journals with impact factors above 10. He has an h-index of 20 and holds 15 authorized invention patents. He received the Second Prize of the 2025 Science and Technology Award of the China Railway Society. He also serves as a reviewer for international journals including IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation and High Voltage.

Assoc. Prof. Chen Chen

Xi’an Jiaotong University, China

Dr. Chen Chen is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and a Director of the IEEE PES Technical Subcommittee on Novel Power System Perception Technology. She has long been engaged in the research of multi-parameter perception of power equipment and advanced optical fiber sensing technology. Centering on the core technologies of power equipment condition perception, Dr. Chen has published more than 30 academic papers indexed by SCI and EI. Her research achievements cover multiple key directions, including array ultrasonic imaging, optical fiber gas detection, and multi-modal partial discharge monitoring. Additionally, she has applied for over 10 national invention patents for her innovative research findings. As a principal investigator, Dr. Chen has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects at the national, provincial and industrial levels. These projects include the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Major Science and Technology Special Project for Smart Grid, Open Fund of National Defense Key Laboratory, and key scientific and technological projects of State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid. She has led and completed a number of joint research projects on advanced sensing technologies for power systems, promoting the practical engineering application and technological iteration of power sensing technology.

Assoc. Research Fellow, Changding Wang 

Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Changding Wang is an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Future Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University, where he was successively supervised by renowned experts including Prof. Chen Weigen, Prof. Sun Shuhui, and Prof. Liu Shengzhong. His primary research interests focus on the intelligentization and safety protection technology of energy and power equipment. He has published 42 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious journals such as Appl. Catal. B, Adv. Funct. Mater., and Angew. Chem. Int. Edit., with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 380. Several of his works have been selected as cover articles. He currently serves as a Youth Editorial Board member for Carbon Energy, Exploration, Energy Mater., and other notable journals. He has led and participated in multiple national and provincial/ministerial research projects. He was selected for the Young Talents Support Program of the China Association for Science and Technology (PhD Student Special Program) and received a nomination for the Doctoral Dissertation Incentive Program of the China Electrotechnical Society. He has also been honored as an Individual with Outstanding Innovation Capability in Chongqing.

Lecturer, Zhilei Xu

Henan University of Technology, China

Zhilei Xu, Ph.D., Lecturer, He has long been engaged in research work in key technologies and equipment of power system transmission and distribution, intelligent operation and maintenance and grid connection control of new energy power plants, arc discharge and low-temperature plasma modification. He has presided over 1 provincial key R&D and promotion special (scientific and technological research) project, 6 national level projects such as major national research plan integration projects, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, outstanding youth fund projects, and 5 horizontal projects such as the State Grid, State Power Investment Corporation of China, CRRC group, and has published more than 10 academic papers, including 8 SCI Journal Papers (2 top journals) in journals such as high voltage, Chinese Physics B, and physics of plasma, and has participated in the compilation of an English monograph published by Springer, and has authorized 10 invention patents. Won the "first prize of the science and technology progress award of the Ministry of education" and the "first prize of the science and technology award of the China Railway Society". Participated in the formulation of IEEE International Standard for pantograph catenary testing (p2752).
